I've been in love with tabletop games since I was a little kid. When I was 10 or so, a local game company, Avalon Hill, opened a game store near my house named Games and Toys Galore. I used to go there every day and play games with the clerk. That's where I fell in love with meaty, complicated games...often which only had paper "boards", cardboard chits for pieces, and volumes of rules.
I stopped playing once the American board game market crashed. After the Eurogame picked the industry back up with titles like Catan and Puerto Rico, room for the old "Ameritrash" style of game came back. Since then, games from companies like Fantasy Flight Games really grabbed my attention.
Today, I play a wide variety of games but my deepest loves still come from American-style games and those keeping the torch burning. Games from Fantasy Flight Games, GMT Games, and Restoration Games are games I almost always look forward to.
Here's a list of my complete collection.
Here's a gallery of my collection that is currently in my game room. I have others that are packed away.
